Stories this week include a review of which seasonal vaccines are available at which pharmacies, and to whom, in Carrboro and excerpts from the "6 Women--6 Expressions" exhibit at The Arts Center. You can see it and other great exhibits around town this evening during Carrboro's 2nd Friday Arts Walk. The Carrborean's September print edition highlighted some of the work on display tonight.

Urgent! The Carrborean needs more responses to the anonymous Election Season survey. If you live in, work in, or visit Carrboro, please take 3 minutes to note the top issues you want candidates in Carrboro to consider. The results will be published in the October print edition.
There is a new page on The Carrborean's website for high school sports and performance schedules. Carrboro High School sports are posted now and I expect to get the CHS fall performance schedule next week. I have not received info from Chapel Hill HS. If you have a contact there, could you please ask them for the sports and performance schedules (ideally in a spreadsheet)? I'd like to amplify sports and performances at the high schools Carrboro students attend so we can support them.
The first free print edition of The Carrborean has received a tremendously positive response! Thank you! Copies are still available at many establishments around town. The sustainability of The Carrborean depends on your engagement with it. Would you like to recommend a book to your neighbors in 100 words or so? Contact info@thecarrborean.com. Would you like to participate in a storytelling workshop to kick off The Carrborean's community journalism project? Fill out this form. Would you like to congratulate someone, note a missed connection, memorialize a pet, promote your latest project, etc.? Consider a classified ad. Normally $25 for 25 words, your first ad is 1/2 off. And of course, The Carrborean's paid subscribers get 4 free classified ads per year. Contact info@thecarrborean.com
