More engagement sessions on Carrboro's Downtown Area Plan: Information from Town: Come flip through the Carrboro Downtown Area Plan at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park, 1120 Hillsborough Road during one of two engagement sessions: Wednesday, Nov. 5 from 4 to 6 p.m. or Saturday, Nov. 8 from noon to 2 p.m. This is another chance to learn about the plan and provide feedback. The public hearing on the plan will continue Tuesday, November 18 at 6pm in Town Hall.

Orange County launched a listening survey to strengthen connections and build trust. Tell them what you think and what you need from county services--today! It takes 2 minutes.

The Orange County trails plan wants to improve connection throughout the county. "The plan is currently being developed through an analysis of existing conditions and trends, evaluation of existing plans and trail systems, outreach and engagement with community members, and other policies and initiatives." You can review it and give feedback on the website.

Do you need help understanding your property tax bill? Orange County breaks it down and provides videos to walk you through it. And more from Town: The Town of Carrboro has allocated $45,000 to provide property tax assistance to eligible residents that meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Own home for five (5) or more years
- Require financial assistance to pay the property tax
- Meet income and other eligibility requirements.
